June Meeting

Our guest speaker this month is Matt Pitcher, newly appointed member of the TDP Permanent Platform Committee. Matt is well known by all West Wilco Dems for his tireless activism and hard work on the local municipal races that saw historic Democratic wins in Leander and Cedar Park.

In his role as a member of the Platform Committee, Matt is asking Democratic voters for ideas and issues that should be considered for inclusion in the party platform that will be drafted at this year’s State Democratic Convention in Corpus Christi at the end of June.

So ….. if you plan to attend the meeting, you have some homework. Please be thinking about the issues that are important to you and that you believe should be included in the platform. Jot them down on an index card (anyone under 40 know what that is?) or a piece of paper that can be turned in at the meeting. We’ll also have note takers to capture your ideas during the discussion.
